Lisa Dunkelberger
Your Language Instructor and Coach
Growing up bilingual in English and German, I have always had an appreciation for language and culture. This appreciation grew as I began learning new languages, and continued to grow as I completed my Master's degree at Medical School Hamburg and began to study what happens in your brain when you speak, read, write, and listen to language. My therapeutic skills have allowed me a deep understanding of how to help each individual, whether through therapy, coaching, or language learning. From this, I have been able to practice effective learning strategies and implement these methods in my sessions with students and clients.I have experience working with diverse populations including those with learning difficulties, trauma, and immigration backgrounds. I have been ranked top 5% of language instructors for the past several years on multiple platforms. I have taught these methods to language students, business organizations, immigrants, and other individuals, applying scientifically-proven strategies to various aspects of learning.For me, the value is in seeing the individuals I work with learn, grow, and learn to love learning.
