Privacy Policy

Languages with Lisa is run by Lisa Dunkelberger. This page explains, in plain language, what information this website handles and what happens to it. The short version: this site collects only what you actively type into a form, it sets no cookies of its own, and it runs no analytics or advertising trackers.

What we collect, and why

The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to send through its forms:

• Checklist signup: your email address, used to give you the Relocation German Checklist and, occasionally, to let you know about upcoming workshop dates.
• Workshop and corporate inquiries: your name, email, and message, used to reply to you.
• Coach waitlist: your name, email, and preferences, used to contact you when coaching with a Lisa-trained coach opens.

The free placement test runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and your result are not sent to us or stored anywhere. If you choose "email my result," your own email app opens and nothing is sent unless you send it yourself.

Where your information is stored

Form submissions are stored securely by Netlify, the service that hosts this website, and copies arrive in our email inbox. Like most website hosts, Netlify also keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the service. We never sell your information or share it with anyone for marketing.

Services we use

• Netlify hosts the site and stores form submissions.
• Trafft handles lesson and consultation bookings. Anything you enter while booking is processed by Trafft under its own privacy policy.
• TutorBird powers the new-student signup form on the lessons page, under its own privacy policy.
• Google Fonts provides this site's typefaces. When pages load, your browser requests the fonts from Google, which means Google can see your IP address.
• Links to WhatsApp, Etsy, and Amazon take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Embedded third-party tools (such as the TutorBird signup form) may set their own cookies when you use them.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as needed to work with you, and email-list addresses until you ask to be removed. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Just email hello@learnlanguageswithlisa.com and we will take care of it promptly. If you are in the EU or EEA, you also have the rights set out in the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

Lessons for children are always arranged by a parent or guardian, and we communicate with the parent. This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information (for example, by adding an email newsletter tool), we will update this page and the date at the top.
